New England Racing Museum Hosts First Granite State Ambassadors Class

New England Racing Museum Hosts First Granite State Ambassadors Class

On March 25 and 26, the museum proudly served as the host site for the first Granite State Ambassadors class this year. We are proud to be partnered with GSA who help keep the museum doors open every weekend.

A total of 22 students graduated from this two-day training program. Over the course of the training, participants were introduced to a wide range of organizations and partners that help shape the Granite State experience. These included presentations from representatives who visited the museum during the two-day program, such as New Hampshire Economic Development Initiatives, the Portsmouth Historical Society, the New Hampshire Rail Trail Coalition, New Hampshire Audubon, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, and the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Additional presenters included Castle in the Clouds, Chuckster’s, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation, the White Mountain National Forest, and the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food. Regional tourism and business organizations were also represented, including the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce, White Mountains Attractions Association, Lakes Region Tourism Association, Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce, Portsmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce, Greater Manchester Chamber, Concord Chamber, and Nashua Chamber—along with collaborative partners from across the Monadnock region.

The training provided an exceptional opportunity to showcase the diversity of New Hampshire’s attractions and most importantly, it brought many new faces and fresh perspectives into the museum.
